While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

From the moment I stepped inside , it was immediately obvious that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms permeated the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and sickness . The main bar, which should be the focal point of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The lavatory was in even a more revolting state —overflowing , with a shattered handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was feces.
It wasn’t just a single bad experience either. From reading other reviews and speaking with locals , it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a recurring complaint. Many guests have reported spotting critters darting across the bar area and signs of rats in the storage spaces . For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the safety of their products .

During my time there, I became aware of how uncomfortable several women at the bar seemed around Cornwell. As I dug deeper , I was horrified to find reports against him involving misconduct , with multiple women alleging that he of harassing them digitally. Described as disturbingly assertive and violating, his actions has created an unwelcoming setting for women who patronize Masterson’s.
